Life isn’t meaningless. Everything happens for a reason. We have to take the good with the bad and see what happens. We need to take risks. We need to hurt. We need to feel remorse when we lose something we love. But even when there are downs, there are ups. We need to take the sound of laughter and smiling faces of the people that we have in our life. When things go well, things can go bad. When things get bad, they can get better. Once we hit our end, we can climb back up. Life is a journey that we need to complete. It is only started for us for a little bit before we are thrust into this world with nothing but bitter sweet memories of our childhood. We are the ones who make our lives the way they are. There are some variables thrown into the chaos that is our day-to-day lives that have major impacts on how things are going to go but we need to be able to bounce back from that. We need to be able to take what we learn from these variables and make the changes that we need to. With a quick calculation here and a quick calculation there, we can make things play out as we please.
But if we don’t learn, we don’t grow and we can get trapped in a world that never changes. We live on a day-to-day basis off of money that we have saved or are able to borrow off our peers. We watch as someone drinks themselves away and we let each other harm themselves in ways that may or may not be obvious to others. We let ourselves down and question if this life is even worth living right now. We don’t start realizing how we impact other people until it’s almost too late. But it’s when we start thinking more clearly, taking the thoughts and feelings of other people into consideration, that we start to grow. That is when we start learning from what happens or could happen. We start to be able to hypothesis about different scenarios and aspects during our typical lives and start to calculate our reactions.
Currently, I am having my own bad luck. I am back searching the job-market with thousands of other people. I am stuck competing against people to secure myself a paycheck to help pay the bills and live. But, even with this happening, I am happy. Now, maybe it’s because I am no longer at the place of employment that I had been but it could also be because I have taken so many punches and beatings before in life that this was nothing in comparison! I continue to look on the bright side of things. I have a boyfriend that I care about and who cares about me, we are happy and healthy and are fine on our own.
Life isn’t meaningless. No matter what happens, we are able to make sure that everything is OK. We are the ones who make our lives the way that they are. We control our own fate.
